Smarter homes.·Lower bills.·Zero hassle.
Lighting scenes, climate, security, presence-based routines — professionally installed on an open platform that runs locally in your home. Charged honestly: time-and-materials. The reliability subscription is optional.
Lighting, climate, audio, blinds, locks, energy — every smart device in your home, in one secure local dashboard. Control any room, build any routine, see what's happening at a glance.
One scene before bed. Dim the lounge for movie night. Set the house to "Away" as you leave. Then layer on energy and battery automations if you've got them. Your home, your rules.
We install whole-home automation as our core service — lighting, climate, scenes, presence routines. Add energy optimisation or Airbnb automation on top if they fit your home.
The heart of what we do. Lighting that follows you, climate that anticipates, scenes for every part of the day, and routines built around how you actually live. One platform — one dashboard.
Got solar, a battery, an EV, or a pool? We extend your whole-home automation to orchestrate them around tariffs and solar surplus — so they earn their keep automatically.
Run your short-stay property hands-off. Auto-expiring guest codes, between-stay energy management, cleaner notifications, and noise monitoring — all on top of your whole-home setup.
A typical Perth home is a collection of disconnected gadgets and apps. Brightgate makes them work together — so your home anticipates instead of waiting to be told.
No lock-in contracts, no surprises. We quote transparently after understanding your home, install professionally, and offer optional proactive monitoring.
Quick online form. We review and follow up within 1 business day. No obligation.
Time-and-materials with itemised hardware at cost. You know exactly what you're paying before we start.
Most installs done in 1 day. Airbnb live within 48 h. Electrical & lock work via licensed subcontractors.
Optional. First 3 months free. Uptime guarantee, proactive fixes, remote support — without lifting a finger.
We're not a luxury automation company. We install standardised systems focused on lower bills, less time on property management, and genuine peace of mind.
Energy clients see meaningful reductions in electricity costs. Airbnb hosts save hours every week. The system earns its keep.
Your system runs on a local server. Device data never leaves your property. Automations keep running during internet outages.
We know WA's energy tariffs, Perth's Airbnb market, and the iZone & MyAir systems common in local homes.
Access your dashboard from anywhere via encrypted Tailscale VPN. No ports exposed, no cloud relay.
Built on Home Assistant — open-source, thousands of integrations, compatible with hardware you already own. Cancel anytime.
Most issues are resolved remotely via our monitoring system — no waiting for a technician, no scheduling hassle.
Perth is the solar capital of Australia. Our energy automation is purpose-built for WA's unique energy landscape — helping you get more from the sun and pay less to the grid.
Maximise solar self-consumption and intelligently manage battery charge and discharge cycles. Your system works harder so you export less and keep more.
Whether you're on flat-rate A1 or Midday Saver time-of-use, we automate heavy loads around the cheapest periods and highest solar output windows.
Pre-cool your home using solar surplus before peak tariff kicks in. Ducted AC, iZone, and MyAir systems pre-conditioned automatically.
Every home is different. We assess your devices, goals, and layout before providing a detailed, itemised quote. No guesswork — just an honest price for exactly what you need.
You pay our hourly install rate plus hardware at cost — itemised before we start. No markup, no lock-in, no markup on devices. The reliability subscription is completely optional.
Optional after installation. First 3 months free. Cancel any time with 30 days notice. Your hardware always remains yours. Covers system & software reliability — not physical security or hardware warranty claims.
Tell us about your home and we'll come back with a detailed, no-obligation quote. Takes about 2 minutes.
Thanks — we've got your details. A Brightgate team member will review your property information and get back to you within 1 business day with a detailed, no-obligation quote.

Transparency is part of our service. Please read these important points before engaging Brightgate Solutions.
What the System Reliability Plan covers. Brightgate's System Reliability Plan ($29–$49/month after a 3-month free trial) covers system and software reliability — including automation health, performance monitoring, software updates, backup verification, and remote support. It does not include physical security monitoring, CCTV or video surveillance, alarm response services, guest tracking, or personal surveillance of any kind. For Airbnb and short-stay clients, we monitor that your automations and devices are working correctly (e.g. "is the smart lock responding?", "did the AC turn off after checkout?") — we do not monitor guests or property occupants. Ongoing support is provided under the System Reliability Plan. One-off support visits outside the plan are billed separately.
Third-party hardware & software. Brightgate integrates with third-party hardware (smart locks, solar inverters, sensors, etc.) and software platforms (Home Assistant, Airbnb, Stripe). We do not manufacture, warrant, or guarantee the performance of any third-party product. Hardware warranties are provided by the original manufacturer. If a device malfunctions due to a manufacturer defect, firmware update, or end-of-life, Brightgate will assist with diagnosis and reconfiguration where possible, but is not liable for the hardware failure itself.
Automation limitations. Smart home automations depend on a functioning power supply, internet connection, and compatible hardware. Power outages, internet disruptions, ISP failures, hardware malfunctions, and third-party firmware updates are outside Brightgate's control and may temporarily affect automation performance. Brightgate's monitoring service will detect and alert on system-level issues (e.g. Home Assistant offline, device not responding), but cannot prevent interruptions caused by external infrastructure.
Licensed work. Brightgate does not perform electrical wiring or licensed security work. All hardwired electrical connections are completed by a licensed WA electrician. Smart lock installations involving modification to door hardware are completed by a licensed locksmith or security installer. Brightgate coordinates these subcontractors on your behalf and verifies their current licensing and insurance before any work begins.
Installation sign-off. Every Brightgate installation includes a formal sign-off process. Before we leave your property, we complete a digital checklist confirming all hardware is installed, all devices are responding, and all automations are tested. You will be asked to review and sign the checklist — confirming the system was working as demonstrated at the time of handover. Photos of the installation are taken and stored as part of your service record.
System Reliability Plan & cancellation. The optional System Reliability Plan includes a 3-month free trial for all new clients. After the trial period, billing is $29–$49/month depending on system size. You may cancel at any time with 30 days written notice. Cancellation stops monitoring, updates, and support — but your hardware and automations continue to run locally. Brightgate does not remotely disable your system upon cancellation.
Australian Consumer Law — your rights. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled: to cancel your service contract with us; and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
Cybersecurity standards. As of 2026, mandatory minimum cybersecurity standards apply to consumer smart devices in Australia. Brightgate does not manufacture devices — we integrate third-party hardware from reputable brands. We follow security best practices during configuration, including unique device credentials, local network segmentation, and keeping firmware up to date.
Cooling-off period & quotes. All Brightgate quotes are no-obligation and provided at your request — we do not engage in door-to-door sales or unsolicited contact. Formal installation contracts are sent for your review and signature before any work begins.
Brightgate Solutions is committed to handling your personal information responsibly. Last updated March 2026.

Information we collect. We collect information you provide when requesting a quote or becoming a client: your name, email address, phone number, suburb, and details about your home and existing devices.
